6 for one native who lives out 24/7 all year NAKED :) 2 have never been worn oh dear.
Plus one fleece and 4 sweetitch rugs. She does occasionally wear a rain sheet if it's very prolonged heavy rain combined with high winds.

In my defence she has in the past been clipped so needed rugging then. I keep them because she is now 20 and I worry I might need them to keep her warm in her old age.

Enfys, haha, you said "blanket"! :D :D :p

The pony has the leaky old turnout he came with, now kept as spare in case a pony needs it, one HW that was on sale, and one rainsheet. He's not worn a rug once this winter.

He has several fleeces and a cooler, which see lots of use at competitions, because as an endurance pony, he inevitably gets bucketloads of water dumped over him at rides.

He also has two exercise sheets, one being hi-viz.

My horse has:

1 amigo lightweight
1 rambo lightweight + neck
1 rambo duo
2 rhino medium weight + necks
2 rambo heavy weight + necks
1 rhino heavy weight +necks

Excluding liners, stable rugs, thermatex, coolers etc thats just 8 rugs!!

22 at last count. Not including anything fleece or thermo related or their fly rugs. I have 3 horses. 1 of which is retired and all of which will wear same sizes.

It's a very very even poll this you know....

Even with Starzaan trying to tip the balance there's an even mix of people with rug-hoarding tendencies (well, some full blown conditions I might add) and also those who are, shall we say, a little rug-shy...

:D:D

Uh oh erm.. 1no fill sheet, 1 medium, 1 medium plus with detach neck, 1heavy weight. 1extra heavy stable rug for artic weather.

2 x sweet itch rugs
1 x H/W turnout w/neck
1 x M/W turnout w/neck
1 x M/W turnout no neck
1 x L/W turnout no neck
1 x Thermatex (which I never use as it slips - most expensive wasteful puchase ever!)
1 x L/W stable rug no neck
1 x L/W stable rug w/neck
1 x H/W stable rug w/neck

Technically they are shared between my two ponies (both the same size currently) but in all honesty they were all purchased for pony 1, pony 2 just happens to fit into them!

Neither of mine are rugged.

I do have a few rugs from previous ponies that could be useful in an emergency though, so I have kept them.

Oh Dear, because he is the only one so far without a rug, though he would have a pink fit if I tried to put one on at the moment. Something else to put on the training list. It would be a good idea to introduce him to a rug in case he ever needs one.
