How many rugs for one horse?

This is great...glad it's not just me!! I bought another one today (a hw) so now he has
1 x no fill rain sheet
1 x lw
2 x med weight (one with neck one without)
1 hw
2 stable (1 lw 1 hw)
1 fleece
1 fly rug
And I have one or 2 to sell...
So I am NOT buying any more..... For now lol

Mine have -

No fill summer turnouts
Sweet itch hoody
Middleweight turnout
Heavy weight turnout (only get used for about a month when I clip in Jan)
Stable rug
Stable liner with neck
Fleece

They also have summer sheets which I never use, and old worn out middleweight turnouts and sweet itch hoodies that get used occasionally when their real ones are soaked through.

I also have a couple of old ones that have shrunk after a few years of washing, and really ought to go to a charity or ebay.

Most of my rugs are at least four years old and don't get replaced until my horses trash them. Most are patched and mended!

I have 4 horses, each of them have:

1 fly rug/ boett for the shetty
1 LW TO rug
1 Fleece
1 MW TO rug
1 MW stable rug
1 HW TO rug
1 HW stable rug

I'm on a livery where we share tack rooms so I bring the rugs up that are appropriate for the weather (LWs and Fly rugs) and the rest get vacuum packed and live in my garage till needed! The only rugs that stay there are the fleeces!! X
