I normally do about 7 on my work days.
In the past I have done upto 16/18 purely on my own, proper straw beds, water buckets and all.
At the big stud where I worked 15 years ago, I lost count. We had 2 x 30 stables in 1 barn, plus 12 in another and a further 20 odd. There were 4 of us, 6 on a good day, so we did alot!! Saving grace there was we didn't need to make regular muck heap trips, mucked out into the passage and tractor man came and scooped it up.
With horses, there is always **** shovelling to be done, but somehow, it is satisfying when you look back at your yard and go ' I did that'!
