We are trying to orgnise an equestrian boot fair next aturday, but not getting the response we expected. How fewer stalls would it need for it not to be a disappointmet to sellers and buyers? At the moment we have 7.:(

I would go ahead with 7. Maybe worth emailing those seven and saying you are thinking of not running it if you can't get more. They may have friends who could be talked in to having a stall.

Are you taking tables on the day? if you've got 7 booked in advance you'd probably get at least a handful on the day - 10 would be OK (I went to one where only 3 turned up but they had some things I wanted so I was happy anyway!)

Where is it?

Its in hothfield, Near Ashford in kent. And Yes, will be takening in tables on the day as well.

maybe its the weather putting people off? say you will take tables on the day - and hope a few more come.
I went to one this summer that promiced on several social media to be a big new sensation - 2 tables of old tatty junk,,, it soon fizzled out!!!
Benson good luck :)

Some of the horsey boot sales I have been to have only had about 6/7 sellers - I'd go ahead.

Make sure you have plenty of buyers via Facebook etc - I have been to a few where the sellers outnumbered the buyers, and we all bought each other's stuff so no-one made any money!

You could open it up to other sellers - equestrian and general boot sale?

So, decision has been made! we are going ahead! So, if you are in the area, come and have a look round, and grab a bargain! or a bacon sandwich!!

Its on 2nd November from 10-2. sellers from 9am. its £10 per table. At Hothfield Village Hall, nr Ashford kent. TN26 1EQ. My number is 01233 329824 or 07894 714921, might need to leave a message if phoning during the day. It would be great f we could up the numbers to make it worthwhile for everyione!

I hope it's a success Benson. Have you advertised on local FB groups?

You could do a like and share comp to get the word spread, maybe offer a free table to the winner? If you get enough shares it would really be worth it :)
