Morning for turning out & mucking out...evening for bringing in & riding/schooling. If for some reason I have to get someone else to do it for me due to commitments I feel cheated. I love being with my lad.

i think it depends what you do with your horses and whether they are on DIY or not......

Mine are both on DIY and Archie is a comp horse, Bloss is a broodmare (retired comp horse). I spend 45mins there at 6am one gets mucked out and stays in, the other gets turned out.

In the evenings i get there at 4pm ride both - muck both out, get home around 7pm.

I see them 3 or 4 times a day at the moment. Am at the yard alot at the moment as willie is getting 3 feeds a day!

Breakfast-everyone gets breakfast, maddie and sandy go out for the day and willie and ewan get hay. so am there 30mins

Lunch- willie gets his second feed and more hay. I work maddie and do the beds ready for night and ewan goes out for 1hr.
so am there maybe 2hrs

Tea- maddie and sandy come in for the night, everyone gets tea and hay.

and then last thing at night on the way home from work so 10pm I check them. so am there 10mins

Well at the moment its the summer holidays so all day! but when I am at school half an hour-45 mins before and then most of the evening!

Twice a day, before and after work. Depends on the weather but I turn out/bring in/adjust rugs in the morning, then ride after work. I am a bit obsessive though, and there are only a few people I trust to do him/ride him if I can't - thats awful I know

once a day - I pay someone else to turn out in the mornings. Go after work in the evenings, 45 mins if not riding, 11/2 - 2 hourse if riding/lungeing.
Sometimes twice a day at weekends (3 of us do turnout on a rota). And obviously some times I go down for longer to do things like clean out tackroom, wash rugs, bath horse etc.

DIY but 5days a week get him fed in morning (he lives out 24/7) so once a day 5times a week then twice a day at weekends
During the week I'll spend around 3hours - poo picking, schooling or short hack and doing his inhalor, feeding etc.

Weekend i'll spend 40minutes ish in the morning to feed and do inhalor, and then afternoon probably about 4hours - usually hack for 2hours then poo pick feed etc

In the week it tends to be twice daily, at weekends can be 3 times plus (depending on what we are doing)

In the week if nothing needs doing ie fly masks on, rugs off etc etc then I only go down in the eve - they both live out so I go down when I get home from work around 4.45pm to walk dog and poo pick then take dog home and come back with the tack to ride/school. I'm usually there until between 8 or 9pm. At the weekend I go down around 9am and I'm still pottering fussing and loving my horse until around 2pm then go back down again with the dog at around 5 or 6pm for another hour or more fussing and loving my horse. If there's nothing on TV then I'm there even longer. I have been known to be back and forth upto 7 times in a day!!!!

Always go and see them twice a day min, even in Summer when out 24/7. We have a few on yard that will leave for a week without checking them? But I suppose whoever went up would look at them and see if ok, but I would have to nominate someone to check them for me if I went away as would not be happy just leaving them.

Either once or twice a day, other livery checks my horse in the morning as she lives out 24/7 doesnt get fed at the moment, and im usually there between 1 - 3 hours after work depending if im hacking/bathing/schooling.

My boy is on part livery so I go up once a day to muck out, groom, ride, sort out feeds and hay, sometimes it's in the morning but mostly in the evening as I work funny shifts.

Once a day. It depends if I'm riding, on whether I have him in during the day etc. If he's out 24/7 then i stay as long as i'm riding for, plus about 20 mins either side of that. If he's in during the day then about an extra hour on top of the riding time, as I muck out then usually get caught up gossiping!

I go down once a day weekdays - i get someone to turn him out mornings and then i probably spend 2-3 hours in the evening riding mucking out grooming etc, but weekends i go down am & pm and probably spend 4-6 hours split over am & pm visits - depending if were competing or not.

Maiden is turned away in a field and I see her once a day. She gets "seen to" twice a day though as her companion's owner does them (mucks out etc.) once a day, and I do the other "end" of the day. Takes about 30 mins (if I didn't stand around gossiping

)
Cookie gets seen to twice a day, they get brought in and the field skipped in the morning (45 minutes considering we have to walk all the way down the road to the field). Then 2 hours ish in the evening when I ride, muck out, turn out.
Usually times are much longer though, as I said I stand around chatting for a lot of the time

I keep mine at home but work full time.

I muck out, adjust rugs and tidy yard in the morning (so about an hour) and then spend most of the evening riding, mucking out etc (so about two to three hours). I pop out again at 10.30pm to skip out and check them.

My mum is at home all day so she checks them and skips out throughout the day.

mines out 24/7 so just once a day.
Im quite suprised acually at how many people still go twice a day.

If just finished A-Levels so can spend as much time as i want up there, so will often just sit in the field watching all the neds eat/play

The YO's live on site and one of them spends most the time in his shed that looks onto the field, so they would ring straight away if something didnt look quite right.
All the liveries come up at different times of the day, so people are wandering in and out the field throughout the evening.

im sooooooooo jealous !!!!!! i see mine once a day, maybe ride, feed them, poo pick and do water. and then walk down the lane and play with bertie my colt, soon to be mine!!!

I go twice a day every day all year round. I poo pick the field in the morning and check rugs, water etc and I'm there for about 1/2hr and then in the evening normally I ride so spend about 2 1/2 down there or if I'm not riding about 1/2 hrs again

Pickle is on full livery monday-friday allthough I will usually see him about 3-4 times in those 5 days particulary in summer holidays, at weekends I work up the RS and have a lesson, so I am there 8-5:30 on saturday and 9:00-4:30 on sunday
