...does your horse compete? And at what level/discipline?

Just curious

T%otally depends on ground, competitions etc. 1-2 BE at at Intermediate, SJing every free w/e with a decent venue and ground 2-4 classes a month Fox -1.30 and dressage occasionally - level doesn't really matter it looks the same when we do it!

I try and go most weekends through the winter and only when the ground is watered or soft enough through the summer. He is up to discovery BSJA. We normally only do 2 classes in a day. We tend to have a month off between summer and winter and vice versa.

In the winter, once a month if we are lucky. Have been thwarted by the weather at every turn this year!

In the summer about once a fortnight, just local SJ shows and unaffiliated DR, the occasional horse trial and ODE. Some RC trec comps but rarely showing. All just for fun on the golden oldie

Last winter season, SJ once a week or every other week, summer tend to do sponsored ride type things instead, this winter season done about 3 shows in total as been concentrating on dressage lessons instead!

1-2 events a month depending on finances. Then try and fit in some Sjing and Dressage perhaps once a month, and occasionally pleasure rides etc. He will get the back end of July and August off eventing if the ground is typically hard.

I try to compete 2 out of 3 weekends (only because I have to work 1 in 3). I try to get 1 BSJA outing a week and sometimes will do a BD on the same weekend depending on whats on.

About once a month for me cos there's nowhere really close, I don't seem to have much time and it can be exhausting after working all week.

On average once a month- dreassage during spring autumn and winter- and shows in the summer. I average around 10-13 outings a year over the last 5 years so not very often tbh

Depends. I compete every weekend, sometimes both days (but only if 2 different horses). I have 2 competition horses (with a 3rd about to start little things) but they're at totally different levels - one does BSJA 1.20m level, the other BE Novice level. So he does all the BSJA and BE stuff mainly, it comes first. Then my Welsh Cob does showing (M&M WH etc.) and RC level show jumping and ODE's. So it really depends whats on as to whos used that weekend! I usually aim to get them all out at least once a month though.

Well in my one really busy season that I did, I did 2 a month and that was novice level. I couldn't have afforded any more but in any case, I think that that is enough. I think once the horse is at a higher level, it needs less and less runs.

Usually every otherr week, so 2/3 times a month. We do discovery & newcomers (90cm & 1m). Every now and again we do a sponsored ride (10 miles), hunter trials (80cm) or a one day event (80cm).

Every week if I can find things I want to go to. We alternate between BD & BSJA, with the odd bit of trailblazers dr if I can't find BD. We also do lessons every week, so we're always out & about.

Usually every weekend, showjumping (just started BSJA).
About once a month, she gets a trip out else where or a weekend off if theres nothing on

1-3 BE events a mth, march-oct (depending on weather/ground would have done one this mth, but now have 3 in April)

BSJA and BD in between and in the winter.

So an average of 2-3 comps a mth

Around twice a month per horse.
One does BN/Disc BSJA and Intro BE hopefully soon to be PN. I only event her once a month though as she's had past injuries - I alternate her BE with other stuff like BSJA or dressage.
The other one has just started BSJA and is about to start BE Intro.

My horse bless her wants to go out more times a month than I can afford, currently selling stuff to get money to pay for everything, already given up social life, refuse to give up the odd bottle of wine

1 - 2 month events in season dressage or SJ around depending on money
