How many times do you wear your breeches/jodhpurs?

Not wishing imvoke any disgust or anything but how many times do you wear your breeches/jodhpurs before you wash them? I tend to go for 2 wears then wash, maybe 3 at a push - should I be washing every time I wear?

Until they can walk themselves to the wash basket... lol

Seriously, depends on which ones and what I'm doing...

Competition breeches - after every wear.
General riding ones - maybe after 2/3 normal wears. Unless I've had a really dirty day then maybe only the once, unless I'm going to have an equally dirty day the following day - so no point putting on clean ones!
 
2 days at weekend unless particularly stinky or filthy from additional yard chores or if they get wet as they then stink regardless! 3 in the week as only wear them for a 2-3 hours at a time and not mucking out.
 
Comp breeches, after every wear (me and light colours don't go well together)

Normal breeches, in summer I'll wear until they look grubby, in winter when I'm mucking out in them too they tend to stink after 2 wears so will be washed after 1/2 wears
 
My god, I wear mine all week sometimes. Sometimes longer. If I haven't got soaked, or covered in mud. Mind you, mine are still living out so don't tend to attract the scent of horse urine so much...
 
All week, unless they just get too dirty. Fortunately, they're dark brown.

In my defence, M'Lud, I only have one pair ... and no tumble dryer. So in winter, I can't guarantee that they'll be dry by 6am the next morning ... I generally don't ride at the weekend, so that's wash time.
 
6 days then wash on 7th. I only own one pair and they get used to destruction before I get another. I am on budget and also hate shopping.

Guilty as JFTD! I tend to put clean ones on to ride at the weekend and then keep the same ones on all week for general horse work but ours are still out too so not so stinky. I only really get time to do the washing at the weekend so they come off Friday night unless I've got filthy. I'll sponge the odd patch off mud off in between if necessary.

I may wash more in the summer if I/horse have been particularly warm! Yes, I'm grungy...
 
Competition, after every wear.

"Nice" (for lessons, etc), after ~2 wears as needed. I need them to look neat.

"Normal" .... Quite happily all week unless they stink!
 
I wear mine until they look dirty, so it could be one wear or 6! Mine is still out at the minute so I'm not wearing them to muck out in or more than 2 hours at a time so it's not that bad....
 
i wear mine for 6 days unless i have got particularly dirty. i only wear them for riding and change as soon as i get home so they are on for about 2 hours a day. when i worked at a yard and had them on all day i used to only wear for 2 days and comp breeches once.
 
Just change mine once a week but I'm on full livery so no mucking out - could probably wear them longer but I fancy a change after a week :D
 
Ewwww sweaty crotch breeches getting put back on again and again, no ta, wear mine max twice then wash, no mucking out but I am in them all day and ride one/two a day every day and I do get hot. Can't stand re-using even mildly dirty sweaty clothes or saddle cloths for that matter, used twice max three times and washed.
 
When on full livery they'll do 2-3 wears then get washed. Unless they're waterproof Decathlon ones then never :o.
When on DIY (so mucking out) they get washed after every wear.
 
I tend to do 2 or 3 days but only wear them for the mornings if I'm riding, I change into jeans or joggers at lunch to do afternoon stables.

I wash them Prob every 4 of 5 times I wear them, and before you say ewwww. I only wear them on weekend days and only for the hour or so I hack out - the rest of the week I am in jeans. I wear jeans up till 2pm then change into jods, then hack - came back and change back to jeans.
