How many times have you clipped so far this year?

It is getting ridiculous - Bob is a full TB, so should theoretically not grow much coat. He is stabled at night, is wearing HW rugs, has been clipped twice already this year - and he is starting to need doing again

I used to reckon on clipping three times a winter, not three times a month :(

Twice. My shetland gets overheated and smelly. I clip him late Sept and I did him again last week. He is MUCH happier.

Not even once, grrr!

Clipper lady was meant to come by tomorrow morning but had to cancel so is meant to be coming on Wednesday. It's annoying!

She's not too hairy but every time I take her out she is wet within 15 minutes, so have had to stick to walking and some trotting so I'm not at the yard for hours afterwards! (Ride in the morning before work, see!)

OH DEAR! My tb's have been clipped once and are in heavies but reallllllly need second ones done already, never seen such a woolly coat on a tb!!

Guess I'm the odd one out :p. I've clipped once, but didn't get much off. Couldn't get anything off his neck, really. Full TB, but grew a beastie coat last year, so am wondering what he's planning...:D

Mine live out 24/7 - mix of cobs and smaller warmbloods ... all ridden horses clipped once mid-late September and again late October, all rugged and nothing growing up! Hoping I got it right this year and won't have to clip anything until end January/February and that'll be that *FINGERS CROSSED*

Mine has been 2x already, and will be done a 3rd time tomorrow. Grr :( She is SO hairy, but I did do the first clip in September, so I'm averaging about 1 a month. Yay!

Both mine live out, Mels has had 2 clips already, Seren has had one and needs doing again desperately. Im seriously contemplating taking the lot off both of them as I cant rug them hardly (too warm for my liking in 180g rugs) and their coats are growing like nothing on earth!

same already clipped my dales pony twice and she needs another this is just getting silly. the novelty of clipping has worn off now what with clipping my other horse aswell. i just think great, time to be itchy and ruin yet another old top

Four times, fifth one coming up tomorrow. Started mid september and fortnightly since. IDX in at night and out in good nz during the day. Work him quite hard after work and got very sweaty on Wednesday (him not me!) and forecast good for tomorrow so I'll do him again - I loathe it but love having a smart clipped horse!

None - I've got an RID mare and on last yard she was clipped at least twice a year. Last year on this yard she wasn't clipped at all and I'm hoping for same this year. They rug accordingly without any prompting so manage her coat really well. :)

Once but desperately needs doing again... I usually clip 3 or 4 times in a year (unless doing something competative over Christmas that I want them to look 'just clipped' for...
