How many times have you clipped so far this year?

You know me - every 3 weeks since the beginning of time! B is being done again tomorrow as he looks like a yak again. I can come and do him again for if you want and he can cope with my noisy old clippers again as still no job :(
 
Only once so far for my cob but he needs doing again as soon as really, haven't done my dad's TB yet as she hasn't grown much of a coat yet, it's safe to say he's feeling rather smug at the moment!:rolleyes:

Oh thats rubbish about the job :(:(:(:( I am going to take your advice and ask for the saddle patch to be taken off next time, it serves no purpose and just gets him hot :o
 
Twice so far with the last nearly 3 weeks ago. I didnt get much off at all but enough to make a difference. Im resisting the urge to do her again until December as she does have quite a fine coat (Hol x TB) compared to most but hate the sweaty betty look after a heavy work out.
 
Not even once yet, grrr, she desperately needs a clip poor girl. Have no electric at my yard but I am told we should be getting a generator this weekend, so we shall see. I will be very happy indeed if this comes to fruition at last!
I shall probably post happy, proud clipped horsey pictures! :D
 
Once. One of mine has to be sedated and was done two weeks ago so I am hoping to get away with just clipping him once more this winter. The other one is good to clip and will probably be done once or twice more.
 
Oh I love this forum. Just when you think your horse is weird, loads of other people are worse than you :D

Every year I swear I will wait til the end of October. Then September comes and he is a hairy beary and dripping from just walking round the block. So I get him clipped. Which normally lasts 2 weeks.

9 bloody days this year before it all grew back. So I had him done again.

Went for a grid lesson Tuesday. Dripping, dripping, steaming, boiling horse.

Needs doing again.

most of mine are their third and this week five have had their fourth clip - like to keep on top of those hairy coats as have 21 stabled and all need to be clipped and kept looking neat and tidy
