How mnay riders in Leicester?

I'm back to university in about a month and planning to take riding up again through my university, however just wondering if there are any riders from Leicester on these forums weather it be for chat or something else

We are out in the county,and my daughters both ride.I ride if one of them can't.I think there are a few Leicestershire folk on here.

From various posts on this site I would say most are in Leicestershire rather than in Leicester

I think you will be hard pressed to find members within the city boundary

I am within the city but am non horsey

This is true, not really countryside, only said Leicester as that's where my university is located, anymore?

I'm in South Wigston, 'bout 4 miles from Leicester City Center. My horse is in Blaby. Too bad there can't be a Leicestershire "fun ride" of sorts for members on here.

We are in Newbold Verdon about 11 miles away. Why not try riding for the university teams? Both DMU and Leic have A & B teams

because i'm not that good yet, only had 3 lessons

I'm in Wigston so very near Leicester, there are about 6 horses that get ridden at my yard. Blaby is a massive horsey area as is Melton Mowbray. Lots of shows in L'shire happen think there is a large community or horse lovers. x
