There was a post on here a little while ago about Vauxhall Montereys (same spec as Isuzu Trooper) basicly a lady had one but it had broken down and she didn't know what to buy in place of it. In the end she decided to get it repaired and keep it as it is such a good vehicle. I too have a Vauxhall Monterey and have just had a new water pump fitted and it is running like a dream, but i have decided to sell it due to financial strain and was wondering how much to sell it for. It is a 1995 5 door, Petrol Automatic a complete work horse and extremeley reliable, never had any trouble with it since bought it 5 years ago, apart from the water pump issue which has been replaced with a new one. Have towed 2 15.hh + with it with no problem. It is a good motor and i often see people on here asking what 4x4 to buy. Open to offers/suggestions

i have a monterey n reg in good condition with fsh and 60000 on clock.bought it for £2000.totally love it although think ive messed up the abs brakes towing trailer through horrendously muddy field.

What engine size is it and how many miles on the clock? The petrols are worth less than the diesels usually...

It's 3.4 / Petrol but suprisingly good on petrol, there isn't much in it between the diesel engines, as diesel is more exspensive than petrol. The mileage 160,000, i have had it serviced regular by my mechanic and it has never over heated and the oil is always clean from service to the next. Just thought it would be worth mentioning on here as i often see people looking for a vehicle for towing etc. These really are good work horses and the seats fold down to nothing so vertualy (sp) changing it into a van.

Girla .... Your estimation would be more correct if that ... I would have said £800 .

You need to think of the market, with it being petrol and quite a large engine size, also the year .

Good luck though
