I give my 16.2 sports horse 20 millilitre twice a day, more if a stressful event is happening. I give the retired, totally stress free oldie the same dose once a day, for the totally unscientific reason that most old horses seem to get colic, and I vaguely thought it might help prevent that.

What do you mean "for ulcers"? As a preventative, or to test whether some MILD ulcer-type symptoms will go away, the current bottle I have says 40 - 100 ml a day.

If anyone thinks their horse has ulcers and wants to cure them, then they should consult a vet.

I wanted to see if it got rid of his symptoms while I wait to get an appointment with the vet. I'm planning on getting him a full check over by the vet anyway. Thanks

They might, it's happened three times with horses I've had that a slight "girthiness" has disappeared with the use of aloe. I have one in a stressful situation on it right now as a preventative, I'm a big fan.
