Thought I might get more responses here. I am currently trying to work out how much I would need to earn before I could seriously consider getting a horse, I have a few questions if anyone could answer I'd be very grateful.
I am in chelmsford so if anyone would be happy to let me know what they pay in the area or would have any suggestions then please reply.
DIY livery - grazing year round is a must, would consider field with no stable if there was a tie up area for feeding and a covered grooming area. How much? where do people reccomend?
Farriers - again how much for the area? any reccomendations?
Trimmers - again how much for the area? any reccomendations?
Yearly back checkup - how much?
Yearly teeth check - how much?
Vaccinations - how much?
Insurance - how much do people pay for what sort of cover?
Hay prices - what do people pay for square bales?
Trying to work out some ballpark figures to see if/when I could afford it. I Have been looking at horses for sale again and there are some lovely looking ponies for silly little money.
