How much are people paying for lessons with an average instructor who comes to your yard (so not anyone famous/who competes to a high level)?

My sharers could do with a bit of professional instruction but I’m not sure what to tell them the current going rate is? I know it was £20-30 pre Covid for an AI qualified instructor and £40 for someone with a good competition record etc. Can anyone tell me what it is now?

I pay £45 per lesson in South East

£40 for 45 mins with one and £60 for an hour with another. Both qualified and compete to PSG for one and Inter for the other BD and both intermediate BE.

Out yard owner is 'cheap' and charges £20 for half an hour but she has no travel costs.

Has competed in dressage to a v high level.

Out old instructor (riding school level) was £25 for 1/2 hr

YO charges £25 for an hour and to be honest I find her more useful than outside instructors who charge £40 to £50 for 45 minutes.

£65 for 45 minutes dressage instructor. Even group lessons at our yard are £50 for an hour, on your own horse. If you use a school horse it's even more. Although it's cheaper during the day on a weekday.

We have someone who comes twice a week and does between 4 and 6 hours each day depending on the demand. £20 for 1 hour, £18 for 45 mins or £15 for 30 mins.

I pay £35 for 45 min for my instructor who was a competition groom for many years including with one of the very big names in dressage in this country and has competed to a high level in dressage herself. I've always thought she was very cheap and to be honest I am a bit shocked about how little people seem to be charging for their time/expertise, especially if they travel.

£35 whether i go to her or she comes to me, i go to her as her arena is much better than mine.

I think £35 is pretty good value. It’s for around 45 minutes give or take, we both judge it by how hard/well my horse has worked.
