Very random question but how much are you paying for big round bales of Hay for this winter, and how much has the price gone up since last winter (if any price rise).

Also can you include whereabouts you are from! :D

Just a random question as apparently hay prices have "Sky Rocketed" and I was curious to see what the price rise was across the board.

Thank you :D

£20, but they're from the farmer who we rent our fields from and he got more bales (12) than he thought he would. He's baffled as to where these stories of poor/lack of hay are coming from as we've had as much rain as anybody else this summer in Lincolnshire.

£35 from a farmer who only supplies our small livery other than himself. Really good quality though weight can vary, anything from 380lb to 550lb (we do 10lb nets and mark them up to keep track). Price went up from £30 last year and no sign of increase yet - fingers crossed! We're in North Lanarkshire, between Edinburgh and Glasgow.

£30 - Lancs :)

Same as last year, great quality and quick delivery so I don't mind paying £5 extra
