How much bedding do you use a month?

We have to go collect, comes in big dumpy bags so you really do need access to some sort of digger/tractor/forklift when you get home. they happily load them for us using their forklifts.

quality is absolutly fine, the odd larger bit but maybe one piece in 5 bags, easily found and removed when laying the bed.

Ah shame, I had a feeling it was going to be something like that. Will have to stick with my bulk bags that are delivered for now

About half a round bale of straw a month for my little welsh d yearling.

I use shavings. Right now using snowflake and use two a week for a very dirty gypsy cob pony. Cost £14 a week.

About £50 a month for the three. The two horses use 2 x woodpellet bags per week each and the pony (who is never shut in her stable so wonders in and out), uses approx 2 a month. Pellets bought by the pallet load, working out about £4.70 a bag.

Mine is in overnight, I put about 6/7 bales down at the beginning of winter and then top up about 4/5 per month. Stuff I'm using currently is £7.50 a bale. (Shavings)
