How much can a TB carry!

Hi Guys just a question as to how much my boy should be able to carry! He is 16.1hh and a TB who is 18 this year! See a piccy I have attached below

These are from last summer so he is a little bit porky but I will try and upload some better ones tonight as he is super fit now!

When fully fit I would personally say 15stone...ish. When unfit maybe 14? as his muscle tone won't be as good. I'm sure he could carry much more but this would be to keep his comfort levels up.

Some people will jump on Amy for saying 14stone but I'd actually agree! Monty was 17hh but he was 27 years old when he taught my novice mum to ride. She was 14stone and he had no problems at all with her even when she was still wobbly

Well thats worrying I ve just bought an 16.1hhh ID x Cob 4 year old nd the breeder has says he will be up to 15st! I would expect a TB to be carrying less than a middle/heavyweight, more like max of 12st.
