Hello

I have a three litre bottle of cider vinegar and am wondering how much to give daily?

At first I will give less and then go up to the norm

Haven't weight taped horse in a while. She is 16 HH and a half bred. 14 years old.

It usually says it on the side of the bottle.

It depends how strong it is, for NAF CAV the dose was 150 ml for my 16.3 horse. For Hilton Herbs CAV it is only 50 ml. So I would imagine somewhere between the two.

I am a tit, didn't occur to me to check the bottle.

It is by Orchard Equestrian and states 125ml/250ml per day. It doesn't say what strength.

I think I may slosh a bit in her feed bowl and see what happens.

Ha ha ha ha, easily done!!

The bottles do not state what the strength is, but I presume that the amount needed to be fed is an indicator of the strength/quality.

CAV is great, it helps with arthritis, dapples and keeps the flies away (apparently).

I'm highly scientific in my feeding - I just give my horse a "glug"!

I feed Equus Health stuff and I'm pretty certain it doesn't say much on the label!

3 teaspoons full according to my 'way to use vinegar book'!

It does help with flies when fed, i had my boy on some and then stopped it for a while and will defo put him back on it...when i can find some more!
