I sometimes have to hack along a busy road and most of the cars make absolutely no attempt at slowing down, for some reason those on the country roads do, i always hack wearing hi vis and luckily my five year old gelding is really well behaved! Is very annoying though!! On the other hand I do get very annoyed when driving and I slow down for horseriders and they make no attempt at saying thank-you! I have passed several where the horse is behaving fine and no reason why rider cant give a nod of the head or normal thank you sign! I always manage to even when my mare is being stupid! Really gets me annoyed. And no wonder some drivers dont bother to slow down if other riders cant even exercise some common courtesy! Doesnt excuse it but if it annoys me then I dont see why non horsey people wouldnt!
