My present one is a welsh section D.Bought as a nine year old to restore my shattered confidence.He cost £4.800 mother naked and worth every penny.Will never be for sale.

Cally was £1800 as a 5 year old blonde bimbo nearly 12 years ago.
Frank was £2800 as a 12 year old nearly 11 years ago. Possibly over priced given the state the current owner had got him in - fat and stopping at showjumps.
But I was smitten and even when otherwise tricky he has always been 100% with traffic which we needed with Cally.

Per year I reckon we've had our moneys worth on both and both will stay in our ownership now until they die.

My cob was £1200 inc all tack and rugs. He is now priceless and I would literally not part with him for £1 million.
My new TB was £1100 inc tack and rugs. So far so good - although costing a lot more in feed, LOL

I paid £6,000 for my Connemara (plus all his rugs, delivery and tack) - looking at this I'm starting to think I was crazy!! Especially since he was barely 5 and had just been brought over from Ireland at the time... oh well, he's got an absolutely stunning talent for jumping and a temperament to die for, so I'm not complaining

14hh cob mare, £400 delivered, unseen with just a tatty rope halter. She's my horse of a lifetime and I wouldn't part with her for anything!

2012 - Welsh D, 7yo, 15.1hh - 2,000 with saddle, bridle & 2 Amigo rugs - green and unschooled. I however saw the potential.. even if it took 2 years for her to hack out in traffic. Still working on the schooling now.

2015 - Clydesdale x Thoroughbred, 15yo, 16.2hh- 2,600 with bates dressage saddle, bridle and about 8 rugs - Very low mileage, was ridden 6 times in 2014. Seeing as his saddle cost about half of his price and his rugs racking up a few hundred he was very cheap and worth a couple thousand more.

Unbroken 5 yr old 7/8ths TB who went eventing, jumped clear XC round Blenheim 3* and was long listed for the Olympics. Sold him for a lot

Most expensive £13,000 (asking price £18,000)
13 yr old KWPN dressage schoolmaster (working Advanced) who was very sharp, great fun, and hardly sound the whole time I owned him. Ended up putting him down with front foot issues. Thankfully, he was insured.......
