How much did your horse grow after 3?

Have you tried the string test on him? What does that come back with? Measure elbow to ergot. then take the string upwards from the elbow to give the approx adult height. From your pic he does look like he has plenty of growing left in him :)
Yes, I have tried that actually. It looks like he still got growing to do with it, I am just getting worried whether I feed him correctly since he is not growing. Thanks a lot for your help though! :)

Mine didn't grow massively upwards after three, but boy did they grow width ways and length ways.

Top tip (I fell into this trap :() - don't buy an expensive rug when you horse is five. because it might not fit when they are six.

Every horse I've owned as a youngster has grown taller after 3 years of age by at least a couple of inches. The ones that made the biggest changes were my Dales who grew upwards 3" to 14.2hh and went up two rug sizes, my Anglo-Arab grew a whole hand taller to 16hh and filled out slightly and my New Forest grew taller by two inches to 15hh when he was bought aged 4. My current youngster is a 2 1/2 years old traditional cob and is just under 13.2hh I am expecting him to reach 14.1hh fully grown.

Don't worry too much so long as he is getting a reasonable diet. He'll grow when he's ready. This summer will make a big difference to him.

Be careful about over feeding though my 3yo is still on just grass and ad lib hayledge ,you want the growth to be as natural as possible to lesson the chances of ocd . She is currently 16.1 , expect she will make about 17h . From the pictures you have supplied certainly looks like there is plenty growing left .
Have enclosed picture of my girl also 3 in may .

Or if you do, then top tip is to buy another, slightly smaller horse a few years later to reuse them ;)

At least 3 inches between 3 and 5 and from the ,length of his legs, not finished yet.

.
My girl was a late foal so technically 6 but not yet if you get me :) She was 15.2 ish at rising 3, is now about 16.1, possibly a bit bigger as cant get a stick next to her! She has extremely long legs :D and looks immature and a bit weak, not helped by a long time off due to injury. She is an ISH, maybe shes got a bit more growing to do after reading ycbm's post :)

All my natives have stopped growing upwards at about 2.5 but have looked much bigger as they chunk up and fill out but didnt gain any height. Hoping Kitten will make a liar out of me as she is 22 months and 13hh I would like her to make just short of 14hh
