How much do people charge for half loan?

Well my son will soon be off to nursery and il be off to part time work so im thinking of maybe half loaning my horse but have no idea about it really.

Hes a dressgae horse, just coming back into work. We have great facilities, 2 schools and 40 acres of off road hacking. He can hack, school and do some fun rides etc but cant be jumped. (Gets far too excited and ends up hurting himself or rider) how do you work out about money? And do you think id get someone who would be interested? He is not for a novice, will have a spook but isnt naughty. Rider needs to be used to very sensitive WB's, also hes 16.3. What do you think?
 
Is he on livery, or will the part loaner / sharer need to do stable chores on "their days"? I think its reasonable to charge a bit more if you're not expecting people to do jobs. However, you need quite a specific sort of rider, so you might need to be a bit more flexible on cost.

Perhaps work out what he's costing you on a weekly basis, divide that by seven and then multiply by the number of days you are looking to part-loan him.
 
my mum has 2 cobs ( very different I know ) and she charges £10 er horse per day...They are expected to take over all care of the animal the days they have them regardless as to weather they ride or not...Should be pretty easy to find someone, sounds like a nice horse : )
 
I am charging £25.00 per week all in. That will be for someone to do 3 days per week and all stable duties on those days, I am paying for everything else including shoes, vet fees etc.
