How much do X-rays cost?

My mare is hopping lame on her off hind, no heat or swelling, the fetlock joint seems to 'click' back into place when she tries to put weight on it, almost like its dislocated. She's a difficult mare, I have no hope of getting her to the vets as she will not load and won't leave her friend.

Any idea of how much X-rays would cost and wether the vet would X-ray it at home? We have stables in the field (no hard standing).

Cant help with costs - they seem to vary from practice to practice.

top of my head i would say £120 for x ray -plus 3 x rays at £24 plus visit charge unless its an ongong issue

Thank you, yes we have power, just no hard standing due to planning permission problems!
