Filly I got was pretty much unhandled when I got her couple weeks ago. So far i've been giving her brushes, starting working on lifting feet etc, loaded her in trailer and taken her for short walks. I've been doing about 20-30 min a day with her. Is this too much?
What do you do with yours? :)

My six month old has been taught to lead, picks his feet, ties up and has travelled. (I bred him so we started teaching this from day one)
My usual daily routine with him at the moment, is go pop headcollar on (he lives out but you can't really call it catching when he comes to you) he comes out the field and has his dinner while I pick his feet out, check his rug/legs etc, then he goes back in the field. At the weekend I bring him up and he gets a quick brush before going back out.

Personally once the basics are there 5-10 minutes handling so they stay used to it is enough but a bit more won't do any harm

Actually I do very little with weanlings. They've had all their initial handling as foals and after they've been to their WB inspections I leave them to it. They are then weaned after the inspections and again I leave them to it. They already know how to lead and have their feet trimmed and are used to being groomed. They've all been trailered and have been for walks down to my arena. I don't teach tie up at this stage and really the only thing I do once in a while with them is lead them down to the arena to get sales videos of them. In their 2 year old year is when I start doing more involved things with my youngsters. Obviously they are handled every day, by handling I mean a scratch, chatted to, caught up for a kiss or worming or farrier etc. but nothing more than that.

mine get a scratch every day, and a chat. Its mutual though as they do whinny to me first. This years are also unrugged, as they live out, you should see the coat they've grown, you can lose a hand in the fluff. ( and they are warmbloods) They have had headcollars on, but I don't put them on regularly, as they are fine with them now. So I pretty much leave them to it. Unless they are being wormed or having farrier. Hopefully in the next couple of weeks they will get to try out a stable (they are in the process of getting built):D

My 7mth old gets groomed, picks feet, gets taken for very short walks as in 10mins tops and has accepted a rug (I don't intend to rug unless we get well below minus degrees). Next month I will be teaching trailer loading but that's all I will be doing until spring. I do 10-15mins handling morn and the same evening. This is my first baby but don't want to do to much to soon I'd rather wait until they are a bit older but that's down to personal preference.

Sorry didn't see the replies til now. She hasn't had any handling until she came to me 3 weeks ago. I don't get her out everyday, but when shes does stuff it normally consists of a quick brush, I then run my hands down her legs and have just started to pick feet up only doing fronts at the moment, we then go for a short walk of 10 mins ish. I just feel as she's quite big and abit of a hooligan I need to get her used to leading more than just to and from field etc. She actually seems to really enjoy the walks, really striding out as soon as you turn around she normally slows right down :)
She had her first vet visit on friday for her jab wasn't particularly impressed with that.
I am hoping to do a couple of inhand shows before she's too big as well hence wanting to get the leading going well :)

My weanling gets brushed and feet picked up, and he already ties up (I bought him from his breeder). We are starting walks this week, and I am teaching him 'back' and his name. We do spend most of our time cuddling though :)

They get bored and fed up really quickly.

I did 'coming in' most days for a tiny feed then back out. That way they practise catching, headcollar on and off, leading and being tied up then feet picked up breifly, all kept short and with an enjoyable outcome for the baby. It took about 10min max. Once or twice a week they spent a little longer being brushed. If they looked bored they'd go for a 5min walk couple times a month but that usually waits until a yearling.
