Or charge?

I'm specifically looking to get a low trace/apron clip. But if you get a full clip, post hoe much you pay for that too anyway. :)
So if you get your clip done by someone else, either external, or part of your yard, could you tell me how much they charge please? Or do they tell you how much they will charge after they have done it, eg depending on behaviour, or how thick their coat was?

Thankies

I've just paid £30 for a full clip - he had everything off including his legs, his face, inside his ears etc

It was done by the YM who is very good at clipping.

As for behaviour he is very good - he sleeps through most of it, but needs a firm hand on his headcollar for his ears as I think he has been bashed there at some point in his past - he is a little ear shy.

I charge £25 for hunterclip and £30 for completly off including legs and head, all other clips are usually £15-20. I also tell them that I will stop clipping at any point if I feel I am being put in danger. This came from when I was almost reared on numerous times and just felt scared!

I charge £40 for a full, blanket, or trace and £30 for a chaser. I hate clipping hence the price but still get plenty of takers!

I forgot to ask! H is being done tomorrow! I THINK last year I was quoted £10 for a bib (he never had it in the end as he was a bit too 'unsettled'). The girl who does it at the yard is very good and experienced, so I don't mind if it is more for a happy result (£10 seems very reasonable to me!), but he may have more off, if he he is ok with the clippers this year.

A friends instructor did a trace on my mare and a full clip on YO's cob last week, which was £40 each. Seemed fair enough, as although mine had less hair off, there were more lines to get neat and this was only madam's second time being clipped so she took extra time with her.

I must apologise - I must have mis-remembered (or prices have dramatically gone up ) - But H was clipped today and it was £35 for a blanket. I don't think that's bad. He was naughty too, they tell me :( (I wasn't there), at first, but ok in the end and I must say, he looks very smart now :) I wanted to take a pic, but it was almost dark by the time I left at 4-ish (boo) :p

I did a few last year - £7 for chaser clips and free for a bib clip because it was only a tiny pony so it only took about two minutes and she stood like an angel. It was such a small area the blades were still good to do my own horse as well.

Charged a friend £35.00 for a bib 2 years ago, he is biggish and very thick coated, I was paying £35 to £40 4 years ago before getting my own clippers.
