£85 a week in NOrthumberland, For that you get hay, straw, feed, muck out 7 days a week (altho I like to do it weekends), use of indoor school, croos country course, holding for vet/blacksmith, locked and alarmed tackroom, nice fields and fab hacking. Also owners on-site which means they are checked all the time - and hayed last thing at night too. And only one other livery so it's great!
Im not on full livery but at our yard i think its £58 a week. thats muck out 7 days, horse fed, rugs changed, put out and brought in. They are fed standard mix and chaff - if you want supplements you can buy them yourself and the staff will add them to feeds for you.
Also can pay extra to
have clipped,
mane/ tail pulled,
held for farrier/ vet,
to book the arena (so no-one else can come in apart from you)
Im in West Yorkshire
If I was on full livery it would cost approx £85 per week this is a yard in Lancashire with very good facilites e.g. indoor school and very large floodlit menage etc.
We now pay £110pw full livery for a lovely small yard in South Midlands - large floodlit arena, generous with turnout, reasonable hacking and very nice indoor yard with washbox.
Best of all the horses get serious TLC and individual attention - and my mare would want me to stress this - ad lib hay!
A good arena plus the right attitude to fit competition horses were our main criteria and we've been lucky to find both.
£90 a week. Includes BI/TO, Muck out, straw, haylage, hard feed.
South Oxon yard, all year turnout although not much grass at moment, large floodlit school with rubbish surface
At my yard it is £140 a week, includes all feed, bedding and hay (though supplements or special feed are extra), grooming daily, turnout a few times a week, muck out, skip out, hay, feed, change rugs etc and use of the indoor or large outdoor school. Riding, trimming, clipping etc are extra.
