How much do you pay for Inflacam (meloxicam)

I popped in to the vet to pick up some Bute but was given Inflacam instead, which was 5€ per sachet/dose

I just thought this was a bit on the high side, and wondered what people in the UK (or other countries) paid.

That is expensive, never had Inflacam so looked up the price, on one site it is £177 for 100 but you would need to add on the prescription cost but still under 50% of what you paid, vets do seem to be using pricier alternatives to simple bute now.

I only ever buy a handful at a time for "emergency use", which my vet is happy to provide for.

There is a real dislike of Bute here now (and Danilon is not licensed in France), but the two horses I've know to take Previcox have had no apparent efficacy, ond one became rather unwell (which may be coincidence, but still)
