How much do you pay for large rounds bales of hay? ( not advertising)

There should be some really good quality stuff about this year, the weather is so good for haymaking.

Last year I paid £30 for good hay and £27.50 for haylage. I would expect the same this season and for the quality to be even better.

I'm sure my farmer was saying he was going to do them for £40 in Hampshire

but now I'm thinking I'm going to have to have words if everyone else's are cheaper haha!

I was paying £45 a few months ago but haven't bought any recently. Would expect to pay about £35 now including delivery.

Paid £40 delivered to us last spring - but there was a real hay shortage and we'd paid £30 in December until that supplier ran out.

It will be a lot less than that this year - this year there's so much hay they're running out of space to store it!
