Last winter when my stable wasn't ready for my big horse i keep him on livery at a livery/riding school and i was £225 for diy with them feeding, changing rug and putting out in the morning.Their full livery was £375 and that was feeding morning and night and changing rugs morning and night.

I tell you im so so lucky to have the place i have now its about 4 acres with 3 stables and lights no school tho but i have sectioned off a flat bit of grass.

How much do you think i pay a month for it??

I pay £26 a week for two horses on completely DIY livery.
24/7 all year turnout and stabling, an outdoor school and masses of storage.

Love my yard!

ETA: Also have mains electricity, water, lights in stables and tackrooms and people living on site...

I pay £60 a month for DIY. It includes a huge stable (at least 15 X 15), great grazing, a floodlit school (although not the best surface but atm still ridable), a jumping paddock that is still open and useable and a load of off road hacking with cross country jumps all around the edge!! Also has mains electricity, water, lights everywhere including outside and the owners/managers live on site! Also has a cheap tack shop on site and is in loughborough (leicestershire)! I think i have the best deal - shame i am moving though for a better school

I pay 70 per month for DIY with water electric and a sand school. I have to buy my own hay and straw in but at £2 for straw and £2.50 for hay - which I don't think is bad at all I used to pay about £290 a month on my old yard.

My mate pays £40 a month for her livery

When I was at the farm, I paid £3 per horse per week. I had 3 stables, approx 6 acres, mains elec and water. Farmer lived on site and would remove my muck heap but other than that everything else was up to me. Hay and straw were available on site at £2 for hay and £1 for straw.

Mine are £12/week each, unlimited grazing, hacking, storage for my limitless stuff, , jumps, hay, straw and trailer. 16x14 stables. No school but flat fields in summer and one only 2 miles down the road for winter.

I aint budging!

£720 a year.

I keep them on a farm the land is probably about 5 acres one of the stables is missive and about 18 x 18. I love it its just me my 4 horses. Hari 16.2h,jae,14h,and the 2 babies dolly and star yearling Shetlands.

I get use of his machinery to remove dung heap as he has a big plant company.

I love where i am there is lots of hacking and a big 3/4 mile rally track round the back that i can use when not being used by cars.

WOW!!! Thsts cheap £3

112 a month for stabling, private hacking, school (with new school being built for next year) full set of showjumps, possible XC course, unlimited hay and straw and the best YO ever..

I've just turned exceptionally lucky.. I've recently moved my ponies from a boggy field with a stable in for £50 a month... To a yard with own stables - rubber matting, lighting. Running water, electric and the use of an outdoor school and jumps. 24hour turnout in field in summer and turnout in school in day throughout winter. The lady - Jill who owns the yard also gives them haylage morning and twice at night and brings them in and turns them out and also mucks out if I can't... For free. Jill's an absoloute superstar and i'm incredibly grateful!
