It varies between about £7 - £10 per round at a venue near Leominster, it has a great selection of jumps but I would say that they are NOT BJSA - They don't have collapsible cups!
It varies really, i compete all over the place, ranges from about £8-£12
ranging from Hartpury to Blewbury, West Wilts, Home Farm, Summerhouse etc. those sort of places, so some have BSJA jumps some don't
It's mad isn't it, I was having the same discussion a couple of weeks ago with a friend.
The last outing we went on we paid £15 to use the show jumps and x-country course for as long as we wanted, far better value for money but it means they don't get the competition experience they need
dont complain!! i jumped two classes the other weekend at BS at Ingliston and it cost me £65 including medical!!! i dont pay until i have jumped as at those prices i have an extra incentive to win!! i cant afford not too!!!!!
The thing is that you CANT practice a round of jumps where I am as they have lke 3 or 4 jumps for school use, the rest are the ones for the comps (mialy bsja) so they are off limits
. So If I want to jump I have to pay £25 for a group lesson or do a show!
Local riding club shows around us are aeround £4-£5 a round. If you go to a venue that does BSJA but on one of their unaffiliated days it's £8-£10, so no much difference between nthat & BSJA prices............. but without the need to join.
