I pay £75 a set, no extras such a stud holes. Just a horse with overly large feet! Refits cost £50 I think

Oh my God, and I thought my farrier was on the high-ish side compared with the other posts! Do they have any special shoeing requirements?

I pay £56 for a refit plus £1 for each new shoe fitted, every 6 weeks. We had to have a different farrier out a couple of years ago to cover our normal farrier's sick leave and he charged £75 for a refit - however, that was probably as he had to travel 30 miles to get to us!

my boy has lateral extensions on his fronts and wedge pads on his hinds + 8 stud holes = £120 (incl VAT).. oh and he has to be shod every 4 weeks during the summer...
