I only share/ ride Jess... her owner bought her for her son who no longer rides so i am Jess's only rider. I currently pay for her shoes (£60 every 6weeks) so it's not tooo costly. But i think she needs the dentist to come and check her teeth.

I am going to ask her owner when the dentist was last out... but i expect it will have been a while!! Should i offer to pay for them to be done?

What kind of prices would i be looking at??

I'm North Hampshire/ Berkshire BTW.

mine is between £40-60 depending on how much she has to do.

i think if you are suggesting to get them done and owner doesn't see a need then you would be the one footing the bill.

£40/horse for existing clients
£45/horse to new clients

(this is basic/normal rate - obv he puts it up if lots of worked needing doing)

I usually pay £48 per horse for a 'full' job but occasionally one won't need as much doing and I just pay half that. Before we moved I used to pay £25 but definitely think new guy does a better job so am happy to pay the extra.

Ah OK thanks guys. Will have a chat to the owner about it now i know it will not cost me in excess of £100 for a check over fee!
