Paid £32 for a full new set yesterday, varies between £30 and £34 depending if he charges for a bit of petrol (fair enough really!) and £15 - £20 for my old boy to have his hinds trimmed and fronts shod.
Think my farrier is quite good in that way!!
Ah £72 for a full set but he is one of the top farriers in Scotland, competed at the World Champs.
Was paying £55 for a set when i was in Hampshire, my wallet wishes he would move back up here.
Well, I seem to be paying over the odds! It's about £80 for a set with stud holes (includes VAT). He's very good though and patient with my horse who doesn't like being shod.
£62 a set and then £2 fo every stud hole so if you have 1 in every shoe its £70 and if you have double in the hind its £74 im in scotland!! but he is very good and i wouldnt use any1 else
£60 for a full new set, £3 for road nails, £20 for front pads, £50 for refits. He came out last Sunday morning to fit a new shoe 'cos my nag had ripped it off in the field the day before and I was supposed to be competing. North Yorkshire.
