How much do you pay for your unshod

nothing! i went and trained to do it myself... well apart from im now 6 months preggers and cant bend over so farrier will be doing them for the moment - he charges 20 quid
 
I have a barefoot trimmer. £30.00 per horse. Youngster every 5 weeks, Old one every 10 weeks and others when necessary (I rasp around myself every so often under the eye of my trimmer).
 
£20 and plenty of cups of coffee in the 3yrs I have had him! Farrier barely touches them and so won't let me pay!
 
£20 - not that my boy gets done now!
But they are done beautifully.

Used to get them done for £12 but I did not like the state they got left in or the farrier!
 
£10 per pair as needed.
My mare's back feet rarely need doing, fronts get looked at every 10 weeks but hardly ever needs much taking off, hoping she will totally self trim through the summer as we do lots of road work.
Pony is every 10 weeks as he is a field ornament and they grow quickly.
 
£30 a horse as needed, for a barefoot trimmer. The old cushings pony's feet have never looked better though since switching from a "normal" farrier - haven't seen concavity in her soles for years until now!
 
We pay £30 each whenever they need it - usually every 3 months or so depending on time of year and how much work they've been doing.
 
£10 per pair of feet, I wish I he would accept £ for his trained eye looking over them rather than wraping a rasp around thier feet, but he won't have it - so I make sure to always have tea on hand! He is the same farrier that shod them and he is excellent. Unfortunatly we hardly see him now as they were last trimmed in sept last year and they self maintain very well. I don't touch them either. I expect we'll need him a little more in the summer as hard summer fields don't seem as abrasive as the mud, and any more riding to keep them worn and I'l have to give up work lol!!
 
£15 for the small pony and £20 for everyone else. And I get them trimmed when they need it, usually every 10-12 weeks or so. None of them are working. When they do I will get them trimmed more often.
 
£20 every 6 weeks by a wonderful farrier!

I would rather have less trimmed off and more often to help maintain balance.

(I've taken on horses in the past with bad feet, once they've got like that it's difficult to mend them and often by that point, other parts of the body have had to compensate)

That's just my opinion though!
