How much do you pay.....

I normally pay £60 for a new set although the usual price is £65 and today I paid £65 for new shoes and stud holes in each shoe, should be £69

I pay £65 a set and he is a very good farrier.
Sometimes I can knock off a few quid if I flutter my eyelashes a bit :)

£55 for a whole set our chunkymonkey with plate sized feet & trim
£20 a trim for the shetland
£35 for a whole set & trim on a small pony
:)

i'm £80 a set on taz mainly cause he has to get braising (sp) on his fronts to stop them from wearing away to fast and £30 for fronts and a trim on the midget pony

Wow im lucky compared to you's. i pay 45 for a full set of brand spanking new ones. Hes a registered good farrier too. Hes getting on now, im worried in case he retires and i have to find another XD

£75 a set.

I know I could get them cheaper round here, but my farrier is absolutely excellent, reliable, helpful, tends to do re-fits for free, is very accommodating time wise, and I trust him with my horses implicitly :)

My farrier is brilliant and i pay £52 for a full set, or £46 if he can re-use the shoes. And £15 for my pony to be trimmed

My old farrier was £65 and my horse used to lose shoes all the time

Thanks for all the replies......at least I'll know roughly what to expect. TBH it doesn't sound like it's gone up that much since i last had a horse!! :)
