I really cannot remember the last time I heard or saw Flick and Islay having a drink? Amy had a little drink yesterday after her walk, but otherwise they do not drink at all

The joys of feeding raw I guess, they are extremely fit and healthy so it doesnt seem to be doing them any harm :D (Flick does have an obsession with eating dock leaves, but she had that before I swapped them to raw :p)

Betsy will have one huge drink a day, its like she forgets its there!! Then overnight I know she plays with her water bowl... she might drink some, the rest ends up all over her bed!

My old Ridgeback drank ALOT, more than any other dog I have met.

The puppies will both stop for a drink (together) in the middle of their play, then lick the water off each others faces and start to play again!

My 2 tend to ignore their water bowl in the kitchen, then when they come through to sitting room in the evening they drain the cats tiny bowl dry! Generally like yours they don't drink a huge amount, Evie will snorkel in the bowl when she has been running around a lot but spills more than she drinks, but they probably drink less than a pint between them.

Mine has a big bowl of water in her pen all the time and only every drinks out of it if its really warm!! But she likes to drink out of puddles and the lake on her walk everyday lol

Not as much now the two Spins get raw food!! when on dry dry food they drank a good two large bowls a day, now you have to change it as its turnning to slime long before the bowl is empty.

Mine have several drinks a day. Dex has an annoying habit of appearing behind me when I am filling horses water buckets. He stands licking his lips and giving me "that" look til I put the bucket down for him.

Drives me mad - I've just heard a tinny scraping noise, it was madam licking dry her tiny crate bowl, looking completely pathetic in the process. She has a gigantic full bowl in the kitchen. Of course, me being a mug, I've just got up to refill the little bowl anyway... :o

Ours doesn't drink much at all, and when he does drink the big bowl dry he'll drag it from the kitchen, into us so then we go and fill it up for him :p

I have terrible problems getting Jim off of Stella Artois!!!! Lmao sorry couldn't resist! Mine don't drink much unless they're running round like loons or it's hot

LOL. Buffy is a terror for nicking Baileys, before now I have put down a full glass and when I've picked it up again its empty, and licked clean.:p

I was seriously concerned at how much Bear especially drank but since we went raw, none of them drink much at all. I figure there's plenty of moisture in their food.

Brig drank from a puddle today but most of their water gets left or spilt when the pups leap up and down when I'm making their tea.

B drinks a LOT and is one of the reasons we had him tested for diabetes, but I guess he just likes water.
Bella, as with most other things, is the polar opposite, I've never actually seen her drink apart from a few laps in the stream and she hates even getting her feet wet.

Glad other raw feeders have found the same as me :) I never thought my lot drank excessively, but it is very noticeable now how little they drink comparatively? Perhaps they sneak out and drink at night when I am asleep :D

My lots are not huge water drinkers either, there water is outside on the patio and they maybe have a few laps each once a day, the Akita however can drink a bucket (a bucket ) I kid u not in a day, she always has, she has non health issues at all, I think it is solely down to the fact she gets so hot and has such extreme thick hair.

Honestly, I was going to speak to the vet about Bear-he would drink the bowl dry. I know we've only been doing raw for a couple of weeks, but I discussed the water thing with the OH the other day and we're pleased, cos the dread diabetes had crossed my mind. Some of their food has been very sloppy but mostly chicken based so not too bad.

Not very much at all, I can't remember when I last filled up her bowl! :o Although her food is quite "wet" and she prefers to drink the skanky water from the bowl in the garden!

The more "greyhound" of my two drinks very little. He's with me or in the car most of the day and I know some days he hardly drinks at all, even if he's been running, although he usually has a drink mid-evening.

The younger one (also pointy but with a lot of lab in her so heavier bodied and coated) drinks more "normally", especially if she's been running but when we got her she had a "drinking problem". She'd been neglected/abused as a puppy and they didn't have regular access to food and water so she would literally drink anything we put in front of her. What seemed to help was going to the yard and drinking out of a bucket - eventually she figured out she wasn't going to finish it! She now drinks pretty much normally although, as I said, even though the two dogs are of a similar size and activity level they do seem to have very different needs.

since swapping to raw I have also noticed that the girls don't drink as much as they use to. Which was 3 to 4 bowls a day now they barely drink a bowl between them but still have to clean the bowl several times as Silk dribbles in the water and the cats won't touch it like that.
