How much do your horse's weigh?

500-520kg,lightweight 16.2hh TB. That's on a weighbridge, not done him by tape for years but know they're not very accurate.

On a weigh bridge in january my 17.2hh danish wb x TB weighed 730kg and he has been on box rest for 2 weeks + after summer grass so i would expect he is 750kg+ atm.

My 13.2hh cob x comes in on the weightape at 350kg. I'd say he was more around the 400kg mark, although he isn't a trad chunky type.

My 15.2 tbx weighs 459kg on the topspec weigh bridge but weigh tapes at almost 500kg.

My 17.2h Dr horse taped at 514kg.
The 15.1h sport horse taped at 514...LOL.
Um happy with how much chap looks so that's what matters

15.3hh LW (but long backed) WB elderly gelding, weightapes 490 but prob nearer 525 on weighbridge. Perfect condition score

After having both mine weighed on proper weigh machine at weekend I will never believe a weightape again!!! 16hh WBx came in nearly 30kg lighter than my 16.1 tb. I was gobsmacked!!! WBx was 578kg & tb was 606kg, both defo don't need to lose any weight.

16.2 tb about 580kg on a weighbridge.

The weight tape is probably about 50kg under but when I use it I never look at that but at the cm to see if he is losing or gaining weight.

I don't think tapes are massively accurate.

My pony used to get seriously fat (greedy 14hh welsh x!) And a tape would show her to be about 450kg and she had a very big belly! But when she went to the vets, she was in fab condition and looked the perfect weight and the weigh bridge said she was 460kg!
