How much does an x ray cost?

Depends on whether they are done at Veterinary hospital or on own yard and how many plates are taken and how much sedation has to be used so very variable
At home you have to pay call out and time at the hospital it is just time .If you don't have transport then need to pay for that. This is what I paid a couple of months ago
One front foot 2 plates and high sedation (17hh nervous horse )around £150 done at home.
Whole set of xrays 10 I think plus nerve blocks on one foot plus 4 on the other for comparison and 3 seperate lots of sedation (16 hh) at vet hospital plus steriod injections £950 done at vet hospital
So it really depends what they are looking for and how detailed it needs to be.

My pony had all 4 feet X-rayed at the veterinary clinic and the cost for all 4 together was £101.76 (including VAT). However, my bill also quote "subsequent views per plate" at £21.55 each. (including VAT). Presumably this was when the vet and the farrier had a look at them. So that was another £43.10. Sedivet was £11.18. In all about £156, about a month ago.
