Hello!
Sorry been off the radar for a while, life with 2 terrors is busy!
So since having the second baby, poor Mabel's walks have shortened massively, plus with second baby now eating food (or more often, throwing the food on the floor for Mabel to eat), her tummy line has expanded rapidly. I want her to be spayed, ideally December as that's 3 months since last season but my priority is shifting this weight so if I have to put that off by another season then fine.
She's a cockerpoo but tbh is the build and size of your average show cocker. She's a stocky build so I think really we're aiming for 12kgish. What do you think?
I'm ashamed to say at the vets a few weeks ago she was 15.65kg. I've been burning with shame since. She's down to 15.3kg now so it is shifting. We've been prioritising walks and I've been on high alert around baby food time making sure she doesn't catch any droppage. I've not looked into changing her food yet but is there any low cal stuff people recommend? I think she is pretty hungry bless her as she's probs got used to a lot of snacking in the last few months.
