I've only ever had a saddler out once, many moons ago and can't remember how much it cost besides the actual saddle (which luckily fit off the peg). Just looking for a rough idea so I can warn the bank ;)

How much does yours cost to come out and check fit and then for any adjustments if they are needed?

I've just had a new saddle fitted, and I was charged £45 call out, although I have also been charged £30 (this was the same fitter!). With regards to things like reflocking etc, a full reflock would be around £60.

With another saddle fitter I wasn't charged anything as I brought a brand new saddle off them, so I guess it depends really

Hope this helps

I had mine out today, she checked (no need of any alteration) my haffy's saddle £20, assessed my youngster for fit and advice given £35 + mileage

Mine won't come out, he's too busy so I go to him. He doesn't generally charge for the actual fitting, just for any adjustments. I paid £25 for slight adjustment to flocking, friend paid closer to £100 for slight adjustment to tree and reflock

I paid £10 to have my saddle repadded last week, that's it. No call out charge ect. Bless him, think it may be because he is semi-retired so it is sort of a continuing hobby which he really enjoys.

Mine is about £70 plus any adjustments.

There are cheaper about but she is qualified, experienced, reliable and approachable, a rare animal in these parts :p

£70...and I bought a brand new saddle off him too...

Same as mine, £70 call out for saddle fit check although did waive this for purchase of brand new saddle.
Top up of flocking 3 months later cost £70 call out then saddler took saddle back to workshop for top up which cost a further £25. I had to drive the 52 miles round trip to collect it afterwards.

30 pounds for a reflocking and she looked at it after it had been ridden him as well as some advice with the saddle and the pony regarding the saddle
