My friend really needs to sell her 16hh 9yo black mare, by ircho Lee.

She was on loan to someone who was going to buy her, but unfortunately the woman has had to have a back operation so can't ride again.

She has had to have her back on livery which she is struggling to afford, and needs to sell for a good sensible price.

She is perfect in everyway, good dressage 70%, showjumps and has been well placed in one day events. Hunts and funrides like a dream. Quality enough to show. Easy to hack on own and in company, non mareish!

What do you think is fair price to sell quickly? Good home paramount.

God.....how long is a piece of string!

If she is that perfect, it will be whatever someone wants to pay. If she wants a quick sale, I think she would get at least £4k for her.......probably alot more!

If she is safe and easy to do, put her up at 5.5k for a quick sale. You could easily get 7/8k if she has winnings/placings at PC/RC/Affiliated if you didn't need to sell quickly :)

She hasnt got any affiliated winnings. Just local stuff etc. And she has been out of work for awhile as woman couldnt ride her, friend has just bought her back and she didnt bat an eyelid!

She was thinking around the £4k mark so this sort of sounds promising.

If she really is as fab as she sounds, I reckon she could def get more than 4k - 5k should easily be achievable! There are a lot of horses advertised at the 5k mark that don't have her credentials

I know the mare really well, and she has been with owner scince a 3yo. Have been to many a show and funride etc with her!

My horse was stabled with her last winter.

I would happily put my name to her.
