Saddler has just charged £120 for two off site flocks (looked and then took to tweak) plus two stitched up items. Just seems like a lot this time!

I think I've paid between £25 and £45 for flocking. Certainly not that much, my saddle only charged me £85 for adjusting the tree!

I paid £ 90 to have my mono flap stripped down and reflocked the reflocking took over an hour and the saddler watched me ride before and after.

I just got charged £110 for 1 one site tweaking and one offsite re-flock. I wasn't expecting it to be so much but didn't query the fitter.

£65 which included visit to yard (only 30 mile round trip for saddler), trying various new saddles, non of which fitted. Inspecting my original saddle, being told the original saddle was by far the best fit but did need a fair bit of reflock.

Did the work on site, back on the horse, rode in it, off the horse again, tweek, try again, perfect. The change in the horse was immediate and I was more than pleased to part with £65 rather than the 1k plus for a new saddle.

I had my two saddles re flocked last week, the saddler came 20 miles to us, charged £25 for travel and £10 per saddle for re-flocking. She didn't put much in one of the saddles, so didn't charge anything for that. I was rather impressed, so much so I bought a saddle off her the next week!

£60 for on site fitting which included new gullet (thorowgood) and reflock. It included call out too, which is a 60 mile round trip for her :)

I got charged £75 for on-site re-flock on a bank holiday Monday. It was probably about a 50 mile round trip for the saddler, he was there for 1.5 hours and also watched me ride.

Wow, seems to vary a huge amount. Im happy with the work and it was a fast turn round just a reasonable amount of cash to hand over.
