Hang on friend or not - she wants them exercised. I think you should work out what it would cost her on full livery and then charge a percentage of that - depending on how close a friend she is.

Enough to cover your costs for feed/hay etc and then add on whatever you think suitable for the amount of work they have.

Or how much you would be willing to pay your friend for the same service.

around this area it is about £85 part livery. without exercise. lets not forget she has 3 BIG ponies. she is some one i no, who has come to me, cus she know's i have land, but i no if she went to a yard it would cost her a bomb.

SHE PROBABLY HAS A LIFE!

Firstly, do you have the time to be doing 3 extra ponies?
I'm just over the border in Berks and full livery is anything from £100-£150 depending on where you go, plus with you she is getting someone she knows and trusts to care for her horses. I'd agree with charging her a percentage of what it would cost on a normal yard - as for what percentage, depends on how well you know her and how long it will take you. Also might want to consider the fact that she may well ask you again so don't go giving your services away.

How much land have you got? As 3 extra ponies could trash your acreage, and leave you with nothing much more than a bald patch.

With hay likely to be a shortage this year I'd be thinking long term about saving your grazing.
