Due to relocation I will be renting out our grazing but I have no idea how much to ask for it. It is suitable for up to 4 horses.

Is about 8 1/2 acres, sloping so most of it is fairly well drained in winter. Has a field shelter and storage shed in serviceable condition. Nice hacking, close to bus stop and easy access to Oxford.

To be honest I haven't got a clue as I don't live in your area.

All I can say is how much the land costs around here.

It is normally about £200 / acre / year. There are a couple of farmers that charge less but I think that seems to be in the minority now. I also pay for mine 6 months in advance.

So on that basis, 8.5 acres would work out about £33 / week.

I have the sneaky feeling it might be more expensive down by you though!

I'm on the Essex/Suffolk border and pay £90 per month for a 1.5 acre field. We have running water in the fields and a field shelter, stables to rent if needed, a secure rug room, secure tack room and feed room. There is running water at the stables too and electric. Our hacking is fantastic as well. However I think that your area is more expensive than mine so I would ask for £40-£50 per week, depending on how many horses were in there.
