As the title says really, i just wondered what it costs to insure a lorry as i am thinking of changing my trailer. I want to work out the costs before i decide. I would only want a small two horse lorry, nothing huge.

I pay £200 fully comp any driver if thats any help

Mines £265 fully comp with breakdown cover.

Mine is around £300 fully comp with full breakdown cover - but it's getting difficult to insure her with her increasing age!

And having had to have her picked up from the Testing Station TWICE this year I have to say that I wouldn't consider not having breakdown cover - it saved me more than the cost of the insurance.
I was incredibly lucky with my 3.5 tonner - when the engine blew the RAC came out and although the guy said he shouldn't really have towed her he thought he'd give it a go - and it was a little hairy. He was a lovely man!

It depends kon the value of the lorry same as horse insurance the cheaper the value the cheaper the insurance
