Hi guys, someone has offered to buy my trailer and asked me for a price.
Basically its the bigger type which holds 2 x 16.2hh horses, its been standing for about 10 months and has had a leak in the front - along the roof on one side its eroded into a few holes.
The floor looks to be ok but would obv need checking out. It tows fine.
One light needs replacing, everything else works fine. It has co**** matting on both ramps which again good condition. The inside def needs re-lining as old and shabby.
Any ideas?
Its most definitly repairable
Thanks :)

i bought an old rice trailer about 4yrs ago that needed work and i paid £250 for it, i had to tidy it right up, sort the brakes, put rubber matting down and also the leaf springs had gone so they needed to be replaced. hope that helps.

Without photos of it, including close ups of the 'holes' it's difficult to assess. If it has that kind of rusting etc then there may well be other things underneath? I appears that it will need substantial repair & restoration by whoever buys. Is it a walk through model or is it rear ramp in & out? as that may make a diference in price. Compare yours with similar models & of a similar condition on Ebay & that will give you an idea. I would imagine it's worth only a few hundred though from the description you give. :(

We sold a rice beaufort front/rear unload last year for £900. It had a good floor, good brakes and tyres and the ramps had been re covered with proper rubber ramp mats. The boady work was a bit scruffy but it is made for aluminium so it wasn't rusty, the top ramp door was plastic and had a split in it. Does that help ?
