How much for saddler to stich a D ring

Hiya just wondered if anyone knows a rough idea how much saddlers charge for quick stitch job
I wud like to have a D ring put on a synthetic girth for breastplate clip

About a tenner but I'm not sure whether sewing into a synthetic might not weaken it so they might refuse on safety grounds, think you'd be better using the loop as normal.

I was charged £10 per strap for sewing on leather girth straps to a synthetic saddle to replace the synthetic ones. Which had cracked and threatened to break - thus demonstrating that sewing into a synthetic thing (saddle in this case) can sometimes be a benefit to safety!

So no more than 10

You would probably be better getting a girth loop from Zilco or something similar, only about 6 quid.

Im a bit fussy and dont like the loop over the girth i think its my ocd brain bt i dont like the thought of that uneven bit annoying the horse ... I know strange i am lol !
And cz i gt a pony was having trouble finding right size with a d ring already on the girth

I did read another thread and someone said to use the zilco loop thing with a fleece girth cover and cut gap for attachment
