Went to look at a horse today, not to ride just see.

He is a 16h tbx (definitley somthing cobby) 8 yrs old black gelding.

He is a lovely mover (very tb like) but quite well built.

BUT he is pigeon toed. This doesn't bother me. He doesn't appear remotely affected by it.

Obviously I have to ride him and if I like him get him vetted but what sort of price do you think I should have in mind.

Very difficult to know, depends what you want to use the horse for. I would have thought his being pigeon toed would have some effect on his way of going for dressage etc?

I'm not into dressage. Hacking and maybe some unaffiliated jumping and hunting. Obviously not showing!

Think she is looking for about £2500

Pigeon-toed-ness wont affect (or is it effect???) the horse initially but can cause extra strain therefore wear and tear on the joints so can cause problems later in life. However it can be helped with remedial fariery.

Tbh if its really bad then yes, take this into accout when saying a price, but if it is minor then maybe a little off...

has he done any form of competing? Also hard to price a horse just based on what you say, if he has competed, how he is to handle, how he is to hack, school etc etc.
