How much haylage

in diifferent sized bales, Im considering Haylage this year as the hay will no doubt be crap and my mare will go on hunger strike, I will be the only one feeding it, and she can eat up to 15kg's hay a day in the winter, I was thinking medium bales may be ok if I only unwrap the bit im using, would that work???

I tend to find that if I take all the wrappings off a farmers sized bale of haylage will last me a month

I have found that it's ok, obviously if it starts to smell like vinegar then don't use it! I keep mine under cover though so it's not out in the open.
