Thats so horrible, how someone can watch an animal starve in front of them i will never know.
I know what he did was wrong but i do feel sorry for him, he must have been a very desperate man to do that. But thats no excuse, if he couldn't afford them he shouldn't have kept them.

From what I can tell the vast majority well all well and happy and I may be wrong but those that were not - veternary attention was being sought.

This case is not as clear and simple as it seems.

Only time will tell as the investigation is still underway as far as I know.
 
This story is very sad, he obviously didn't mean to be deliberately cruel, he must of loved the animals or he wouldn't have been compelled to end his life.

On the other hand, it says that he was offered help for many years so he must have been very stubben to not listen to people. I realise there are many busy-bodies but if people repeatedly mentioned things about my animal's welfare then I would start to wonder if I was doing something wrong. And that picture is quite obviously proof that he was doing something wrong, even if it wasn't all of them as previously said.
 
leaving animals in that state he deserved to die. good job he did commit suicide as it saves people forming a lynch mob! i know that isnt a charitable comment but anyone who can watch an animal starve is not worth the air they breathe.
 
Very very sad for both the man and the ponies..I think i need to hear more on this before i can really comment though

I think you should delete your post. How dare you judge and condemn. . I presume you know the complete story and the deceased mental/physical problems?
